2027: There will be no zoning in Nasarawa - Guber aspirant, Adamu

Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, a former Inspector General of Police and governorship aspirant for Nasarawa State, stated that there will be no zoning arrangement for the 2027 elections. He asserted that the direct primaries system will allow voters to choose their candidate, unlike the indirect primaries. Adamu also emphasized that since 1999, the state has never practiced zoning for the governorship seat and criticized the state of the capital, Lafia, which has not been prioritized by previous administrations.
