2027: Tinubu’s daughter mobilises market women and launches Iyaloja movement

Dr Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s daughter and the country’s Iyaloja-General, launched the Iyaloja General Movement in Abuja to mobilise market women and grassroots voters for her father’s 2027 re-election. He wants the ministry to identify the road sections and planned work, contractors, funding arrangements, procurement approvals and completion timelines, with a breakdown of funds approved, released and paid. Ugolor also asked whether the damaged Kira section in Rivers State is covered and how the repairs relate to existing contracts and the planned reconstruction of about 400 kilometres between Edo and Cross River states. He called for publication of drainage, flood-risk and geotechnical assessments, alongside information on safety, community consultation and compensation.
