2027: We need to forgive ourselves, North will work with South-East - Kwankwaso

Rabiu Kwankwaso, running mate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), said Northern leaders have decided to forgive the South-East and work with the region. In an interview with BBC Igbo, he recalled historical alliances between Northern and Southern parties, citing Odumegu Ojukwu and Alex Ekwueme. Kwankwaso emphasized the need for forgiveness and unity, stating that the North is not in conflict with the South-West or other zones.
