2027: “We won’t allow what happened in 2023 to repeat itself,” Atiku says

African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar said Wednesday in Sokoto that his party would not allow the events of the 2023 presidential election to happen again. At the campaign launch, he urged Nigerians to vote in large numbers and protect their ballots so they would be counted and announced. He criticized the state government for trying to prevent the rally from taking place. Atiku also pledged to restore security, open borders to legitimate trade and reinstate fuel subsidies.
