2027: We’ll defeat Tinubu in 12 battleground states, Makinde’s campaign vows

The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation says Seyi Makinde, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate, will defeat Bola Tinubu in the 12 states where the president plans to campaign, including Rivers and Lagos, as well as in Abuja. In a statement by strategic communications director Richard Nnanna Ihediwa, the group blamed public discontent on economic hardship and the Tinubu administration’s policies. It presented Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA agenda as an alternative to the Renewed Hope Agenda, proposing an inclusive four-year transitional government focused on education, the economy, security and sociopolitical reforms.
