2027: ‘Will he cancel the South-South Commission?’ Oshiomhole asks what Peter Obi would do differently

At an APC campaign rally in Uyo on Friday, Senator Adams Oshiomhole questioned what NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi would do differently from Bola Tinubu for the people of Akwa Ibom State. He asked whether Obi would retain or cancel the South-South Development Commission, which Tinubu created and funded for six states in the region. Oshiomhole also pointed to student loans, saying thousands of students from poor families in Akwa Ibom can attend university because of the scheme. He criticized Obi’s record as governor of Anambra State and accused him of wanting to restore multiple exchange rates.
