2027: Yilwatda tasks Lagos APC with delivering victories for Tinubu and Hamzat

APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda urged party leaders and members in Lagos to secure victories for President Bola Tinubu, governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat and the party’s other candidates in the 2027 elections. At a PBAT-KOH Campaign Council retreat at Eko Hotel and Suites, he stressed unity, reconciliation and grassroots mobilisation, warning leaders against putting personal interests ahead of the party’s goals. He described Lagos, with more than seven million registered voters, as strategically important and recalled that the APC lost the state in the 2023 presidential election. Yilwatda also urged members to communicate the government’s achievements and win support for APC candidates at every level to secure legislative majorities.
