2,370 candidates jostle for 500 Tsangaya teaching jobs in Jigawa

A total of 2,370 candidates participated in a Computer-Based Test for 500 teaching positions under the Jigawa State Government's J-Tsangaya Programme. The Executive Secretary of the Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board, Abubakar Maje, stated that the candidates sat for the examination at three designated centers. The 500 positions include 250 Alarammas, 150 NCE graduates, and 100 graduates, aimed at modernizing Tsangaya education by combining Qur'anic and modern education.
