Indian authorities arrested 26 Kenyans at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport for attempting to smuggle 29.4 kilograms of gold valued at approximately Ksh525 million. Most of those detained were elderly women suspected of being part of an organized smuggling network.
