Kenyan Psychologist Launches AI-Powered App for Children with Autism, ADHD

Kenyan psychologist and neurodiversity specialist Tabby Ngeru launched the app Qiotter in July, designed to assist children with developmental differences such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and dyslexia. The app uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized activities and support for parents and caregivers, bridging gaps between home, school, and professional care. Qiotter features an assistant named NIA, trained to handle sensitive information about children. The platform aims to turn screen time into structured developmental activities to promote cognitive, communication, and emotional skills.
