Yoff Tongor: Fish-processing plant ravaged by flames as workers reveal what happened

A fish-processing plant at the Yoff Tongor fishing wharf caught fire on Monday at around 9 p.m. The blaze damaged the area housing the processing machinery and spread to other parts of the site despite a rapid response by firefighters. Yoff residents gathered to help put out the fire, while smoke made it difficult to breathe more than 300 metres away. Witnesses said some areas were blocked, and gendarmes also responded.
