Ruto Delays Start of Free University, College Education to Next Semester

President William Ruto announced that the start of free university and college education for all students has been postponed to January 2027. This decision was made during a development tour in Kimana, Kajiado County, on September 3. The new funding model will cover students in universities, technical and vocational education and training institutions, and the Kenya Medical Training College.
