32 air conditioners stolen, a presumed network dismantled for a loss of over 70 million FCFA

The Urban Security arrested five suspects, including security guards, following the theft of 32 air conditioners valued at 70 million FCFA. Investigators found that the guards had disabled surveillance cameras to facilitate the theft, evacuating the equipment with a handcart. Four cut units were discovered at a scrap dealer, who had purchased them for 150,000 FCFA. The suspects are in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
