France's record goalscorer Olivier Giroud has extended his contract with Lille by one season. The 39-year-old former Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan striker scored 57 goals in 137 games for France. He joined Lille last season and scored decisive goals including four in the Europa League. Giroud expressed eagerness to work with new coach Davide Ancelotti.
