Ogun to convert 6,000 Amotekun and So-Safe personnel into state police, Abiodun says

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun says more than 6,000 Amotekun and So-Safe Corps personnel are available to join the proposed state police force. The state House of Assembly has approved its creation, and Abiodun says existing community-based security structures will help the transition and improve protection of lives and property. Speaking at the 50th Ereke Day celebration in Ikenne, he also ordered the immediate reconstruction of Delabo-Ikenne Road to improve access and stimulate local economic activity.
