Headmaster beg Gov Oborevwori to sand fill, build staff quarters in flooded school - Daily Post Nigeria

Ogini Primary School in Obotebe, Delta State, is overwhelmed by floods and weeds, with classrooms lacking chairs and desks and roofs damaged. The assistant headmaster, Okoye Young, stated that the school has only nine teachers and lacks staff quarters, making it difficult to retain teachers in the riverine community. He appealed to the government to help fill the school compound with sand to prevent future flooding, which caused a two-week break. The community faces infrastructural challenges due to its location in a flood-prone area.
