Mental resilience critical to combat readiness – COAS

The Chief of Army Staff of the Nigerian Army, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu, emphasized the importance of mental resilience at a seminar in Kachia, Kaduna State. He stated that contemporary military operations require not only physical fitness and tactical competence but also strength of character and discipline. Shaibu also stressed the need to acknowledge psychological difficulties and encourage personnel to seek help without stigma.
