Japan’s ambassador to Benin, Hideki Uezono, and Simon Choukpin, president of the Vignon Nougbo NGO, signed a grant agreement worth more than CFAF 105 million for CEG 3 in Glo-Djigbé on October 28. The funding will be used to build and equip seven classrooms, a laboratory and two toilet blocks, each with four stalls. The ceremony was attended by the school’s director, Francis Gildas Biaou, and the president of the parents’ association, Paulin Amaninkpo.
