Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja revealed that churches and security departments owe over Ksh2.7 billion in taxes and other charges. He stated that the county is implementing measures to facilitate payment and reduce revenue leakages, including digitizing services. Sakaja also noted that Nairobi collected Ksh256 million in a single day due to this digital system.
