Dangote: Petrol cheaper in Nigeria than neighbours

Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Industries Limited, stated that petrol prices are relatively cheaper in Nigeria than in neighboring countries, which encourages smuggling. He noted that consumers in some of those countries pay between 30 and 50 percent more. Dangote also mentioned the potential impact of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East on energy supplies while assuring that the Dangote Refinery will continue to supply the domestic market.
