Femicides in Cameroon: Minproff invites victims to use a green reporting line

During the Actualité Hebdo program, Minister Marie-Thérèse Abena Ondoa reminded that the green line 116, initially intended for child protection, also allows reporting violence against women. In response to the rise in femicides, the government is implementing prevention and support measures for victims. A national awareness campaign has been launched, but criticisms remain regarding the inadequacy of concrete actions to protect victims and punish perpetrators of violence.
