Togo: Kara municipalities prepare their territorial food plans

The four municipalities in Togo’s northern Kara region are developing Territorial Food Plans after validating a regional agricultural and food-systems diagnostic in Kara on November 2, 2026. They are also intended to promote short supply chains, support producers and small food-processing businesses, and strengthen local food supplies and resilience. The initiative is part of the PARCIT project, implemented in Benin, Burkina Faso and Togo with technical and financial support from the European Union.
