NAFDAC: Unbranded palm oil, fufu outside our direct oversight

NAFDAC stated that it does not have direct regulatory oversight over unbranded palm oil and fufu sold in markets. The Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, revealed that the agency receives over 200 monthly complaints about suspected products. She emphasized the importance of reporting counterfeit products through official channels rather than social media, stressing the need for scientific evaluation to determine product safety.
