6.7 Million Visitors, 8.7% of GDP: Ivory Coast's Tourism in Its New Dimension

In 2025, Ivory Coast welcomed over 6.7 million visitors, with tourism accounting for 8.7% of GDP and over 650,000 jobs created between 2018 and 2025. The « Sublime Côte d'Ivoire » strategy focuses on digital transformation, domestic tourism, and diversification, including investments in luxury hotel complexes and AI-driven data use to better understand and manage tourist flows. The country has also increased its international presence through events like ITB China and IFTM Top Resa, and has launched a new phase of its strategy for 2026-2030.
