2027 Women’s World Cup: FIFA announces $2.5 million for the Indomitable Lionesses

FIFA says each team participating in the 2027 Women’s World Cup, including Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses, will receive $2.5 million to prepare for the competition. The funding is intended to cover teams’ sporting and logistical needs. FIFA also plans to redistribute any tournament surplus to the participating member associations, reserving a portion for players to benefit directly. The support’s impact will depend on FIFA’s payment and management arrangements.
