Obi and Kwankwaso to Hold Middle Belt Town Hall Meeting in Jos

Peter Obi, the Nigerian Democratic Congress’s 2027 presidential candidate, and his running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, are expected in Jos, Plateau State, on Friday, October 23, 2026. They are scheduled to attend a town hall at 11 a.m. at Gowon Hall, Crispan Hotel, Rayfield, to engage with youths and party supporters and outline their plans for the Middle Belt. Organizers, including the Middle Belt Youth Council and the Obidient Movement, say the event will also address political participation and voters’ role in Nigeria’s democracy.
