Abia debunks N50,000 akara tax claim

The Abia State Government has debunked reports that akara sellers and other petty traders are being forced to pay a N50,000 tax, calling the claim misinformation. During a press briefing, Information Commissioner Prince Okey Kanu announced the designation of historical and natural sites as State Monuments, including the National War Museum and Ulochukwu Cave. Aba has also been declared a Creative and Innovative City, with rehabilitation works on the sites currently underway.
