National Assembly: Deputies convened for plenary session on September 1, 2026

The Senegalese National Assembly will open its second extraordinary session on September 1, 2026, at 10 a.m. The agenda includes the opening of the session, the establishment of a quorum, and the adjournment of the session. Prime Minister Al Amine Lo was scheduled to appear before Parliament on that day, but a minimum eight-day notice is required before such a presentation. The Conference of Presidents will be convened to set the date for the plenary session dedicated to the General Policy Statement.
