Irobo (Dabou): Runaway truck leaves the road and crashes into market, killing four

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, a heavy truck carrying rubber toward Dabou left the road near the Palm-CI junction in Irobo and crashed into market shops. The accident killed four people, including a woman and two children; three victims died at the scene, while a girl about one year old later died at the Palm-CI factory infirmary. A woman who suffered serious injuries, including head trauma, received initial treatment from civil firefighters and was taken to Dabou General Hospital.
