Late filing of SERAP's brief stalls appeals against N101m awarded to DSS officers - Daily Post Nigeria

The Court of Appeal in Abuja postponed hearings for SERAP and Oluwadare's appeals against a N101 million defamation fine due to late filing of their briefs. The appeals challenge a May 5 judgment by the FCT High Court, which found that SERAP and Oluwadare defamed two DSS officials through false publications in September 2024. The court adjourned the case to October 13, requiring respondents to file their briefs by October 12.
