EPL: Man Utd in relegation places ahead of Aston Villa clash

Manchester United are 18th in the Premier League ahead of Sunday's home match against Aston Villa, following Nottingham Forest's 3-1 win over Manchester City. Forest, who were below United before the game, have moved up to 16th, leaving only Crystal Palace and Sunderland beneath the Red Devils. Michael Carrick has won just one of his nine matches. United go into the fixture in buoyant mood after coming from behind to beat Roma 3-2 in the Champions League.
