Mozambique: Military Personnel Must Remain Ready to Face Growing Sophisticated Threats

Mozambican President Daniel Chapo urged military personnel to be prepared for increasingly sophisticated national security threats. Speaking at the 31st Commando Course ceremony at the Special Forces Training School in Nacala, he emphasized the need for modernization of the armed forces, which requires not only modern equipment but also specialized training. Chapo also highlighted the importance of rigorous preparation and the ability to operate in complex environments, while leveraging the experience gained in combating terrorism in Cabo Delgado.
