EAC, PAPSS, IA: BCC Accelerates DRC's Integration into the African Financial Ecosystem

The Central Bank of Congo (BCC) strengthened its commitment to the financial integration of the DRC during its participation in the 48th meeting of the ABCA Governors' Council in Nairobi. On September 18, Governor André Wameso Nkualoloki signed the agreement for the DRC's accession to the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), aimed at facilitating cross-border payments. He also signed a memorandum of understanding with the central banks of the EAC for currency convertibility.
