Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani Loses Her Father

Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani is mourning her father, Mzee Mohamed Achani, who died Monday morning at his rural home in Bodo Village, aged 74. He reportedly developed complications while performing the Fajr prayers and had been in and out of hospital, though the nature of his illness was not disclosed. His burial is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday at the family home. President William Ruto and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya offered condolences to the family.
