‘We no longer eat three meals’: Yemen’s displaced face daily fight for food

Mohamed Saed, a 46-year-old teacher, lives in Taiz with his family after being displaced multiple times since Yemen's war began. He has not received a salary for years and now eats only one or two meals a day, with many families skipping meals due to worsening conditions. Since early September, nearly 134,000 people have been displaced, including around 73,000 children, deepening the humanitarian crisis. The conflict has shifted front lines, with Houthis controlling the north and west, and the internationally recognized government holding the south and east, leading to increased violence and casualties.
