Fertilizer: TMG and Indonesia’s Turrima consider an FCFA 8.8 billion plant in Cameroon

Cameroonian company TMG International Investment Group PLC and Indonesia’s PT Turrima Agro Mass are considering building an organic fertilizer plant in Cameroon, with a potential investment of US$15 million, or about FCFA 8.8 billion. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on October 16, 2026, covering agricultural technology transfer and development of local production capacity. The proposed plant would be part of a 25-hectare integrated agricultural complex with laboratories, facilities for storing and processing raw materials, and areas for cultivation and livestock. The partners plan to convert organic materials from farming and animal activities into fertilizers.
