IAEA: In Vienna, Morocco Shares Its Expertise in Radioactive Waste Management

On the sidelines of the 70th IAEA General Conference in Vienna, Morocco presented its experience in radioactive waste management, including collection, treatment, and storage. The event was organized by the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom in Vienna and CNESTEN, in cooperation with the IAEA and other international partners. Ambassador Azzeddine Farhane emphasized the importance of responsible waste management in relation to the expansion of peaceful nuclear applications. Morocco aims to share its expertise with African countries in this field.
