Charge sheet did not identify any terrorist act committed by Nnamdi Kanu, says defence team

Onyedikachi Ifedi, a member of the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Defence Consortium, says the charge sheet that led to the IPOB leader’s conviction fails to identify a distinct terrorist act allegedly furthered by Kanu’s broadcasts. Ifedi argues that describing broadcasts as being “in furtherance” of terrorism does not identify the primary offence, which the prosecution had to specify in the charges. He made the challenge as the Court of Appeal delayed listing Kanu’s appeal against his conviction.
