How an economic squeeze is changing everyday life and work for Iranians

The Iranian government has implemented cost-saving measures in response to severe fuel shortages and growing economic challenges. Starting September 23, office hours will be from 8 AM to 1 PM, with remaining contractual hours to be completed remotely. Additionally, ministers are promoting public transport use, and metro and bus systems will be free until mid-November.
