Ivory Coast: Ouattara finally finds a solution to illegal gold mining; RHDP takes Koné Katina to court

The National Security Council, led by President Alassane Ouattara, has decided to combat illegal gold mining by setting a six-month deadline to end this scourge. Fidèle Sarassoro, Executive Secretary of the CNS, stated that no locality will be excluded from the authority of the State. Meanwhile, the RHDP has filed a complaint against Justin Koné Katina, a member of the PPA-CI, for defamation, insults, and false news.
