Troops stop terrorists from entering Ghandi town in Sokoto

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have stopped suspected terrorists from advancing into Ghandi town in Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State. The operation took place early Sunday morning after troops acted on credible intelligence about the movement of the suspects. Several terrorists were reportedly wounded during the gun battle, and a follow-up search led to the recovery of an AK-47 rifle and ammunition left behind by the fleeing suspects.
