Among the over 3,600 men killed at the Battle of Antietam in September 1862 was Henry Keeler, a corporal in the 14th Connecticut Infantry. His brother, S.P. Keeler, wrote a letter describing his search for Henry's grave on the battlefield, where he eventually found it under an apple tree.
