Afreximbank backs Tanzanian SMEs with $10m export finance facility

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has extended a $10 million finance facility to Azania Bank Plc in Tanzania to improve access to funding for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in export value chains. This funding will enable Azania Bank to provide working capital and medium-term financing to eligible SMEs, promoting business expansion and job creation. Additionally, Afreximbank will offer business development support, including export readiness training and financial management advisory services.
