Kibochi’s Rise From Signals Officer to CDF Documented in New Memoir

Retired General Robert Kibochi documented his 44-year military career in a new memoir, _Arrowhead_, launched on September 25, 2026. He rose from a Signals Corps officer to Kenya’s 10th Chief of Defence Forces, becoming the first from his corps to reach full General and command the Kenya Defence Forces. Kibochi, who holds a PhD in Peace and Conflict Management, served in various command roles including a UN peacekeeping deployment in Sierra Leone, and led the Kenyan military from May 2020 to May 2023, focusing on modernization and operational readiness.
