FG Plans National Sports Commission Office in Kwara, Magaji Says

Nigeria’s federal government plans to establish a National Sports Commission office in Kwara State after officials were impressed by sports facilities developed under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Bola Magaji, chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, said national commission officials inspected the facilities about three weeks ago and were satisfied with the state stadium complex. He cited Kwara’s squash courts and the state’s improved medal-winning performances at national and international competitions. Magaji spoke at the launch of a book about AbdulRazaq, The Sardauna of Ilorin in the Eyes of History.
