Hundreds to defy Palestine Action ban in protest at US embassy in London

More than 400 people are expected to gather outside the US embassy in London on October 31 to protest the British government’s ban on Palestine Action. Protesters plan to carry signs opposing genocide and supporting the group, while a parallel demonstration is planned outside the US consulate in Edinburgh. Defend Our Juries says more than 3,850 people have been arrested for publicly backing Palestine Action since it was proscribed in July 2025. Organisers also want to raise the possibility that President Donald Trump pressured the UK to impose the ban; the Supreme Court is due to hear cofounder Huda Ammori’s appeal on November 4 and 5.
