JOJ Dakar 2026: Beninese Athletes Prepared for Integrity Issues

Seven young Beninese athletes participating in the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics were trained on sports integrity on October 3, 2026, in Cotonou during a session organized by the Benin National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS Bénin) at the Général Mathieu Kérékou stadium. The workshop covered doping, match manipulation, protection of young athletes, and their responsibilities, with input from international experts including Evangelos Alexandrakis via videoconference. The athletes, their parents, and coaches signed commitments to uphold these values, emphasizing anti-doping measures and safeguarding against match-fixing.
