Police take over King's College premises

After days of protests by parents, a contingent of police took over the premises of King's College in Onikan, Lagos, on Wednesday. The parents, who had a serious altercation with police and members of the Old Boys Association, were absent near the college gate, as roads leading to it were cordoned off by police vehicles. Members of the association, including National President Ibrahim Kassim Imam, gathered to discuss the concession of the college by the Federal Government.
