Moroccan consulate in France reportedly attacked by Polisario supporters

Morocco’s consulate general in Orly reported vandalism at its premises during the night of October 15–16, 2026. The consulate said five people claiming affiliation with the Polisario were involved, and three have been arrested. The Moroccan representation also criticized recent positions taken by some Val-de-Marne officials on Western Sahara. Franco-Moroccan representatives and elected officials condemned the vandalism, while the consulate praised the French authorities’ response and said it trusted the investigation.
