Qatar MotoGP to go ahead despite regional tensions

MotoGP’s Qatar Grand Prix remains scheduled for November 6–8 at Lusail International Circuit despite Middle East tensions and safety concerns. Originally set for April, the race was postponed because of the regional conflict and is due to be the 20th round of the season. A MotoGP source told Reuters that preparations were continuing and that the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved were the first priority. Formula One also plans to hold its final two races of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi as scheduled.
